If I could, I would attend a conference every three months. You can always check to see if there something local to attend in your state as well.

How important is it to attend events?  It's very important! You can receive insider tips and tricks to help you improve what you already know or did not know.

How do you find out when there is a conference?  The best thing to do is just Google it.  There are so many conference going on over the world!

A Quick Note About Paypal and eBay

"How come I'm not selling on eBay?"  "Why do I have wait 90 days for Paypal. "I can't seem to find items to sell!!!"

First, we MUST stop with the self-defeating words. It's a business with highs and low, YOU CAN DO IT! Wow, these are all valid questions with yes, easy and not so easy answers.  At one time NOT SO LONG AGO, I asked the same things but as time went on, things became A LOT EASIER!

Again, MAX out YOUR LISTING, use the T.A.P. method, and keep at it! 

Paypal has their own rules. Consider the 90 days like a new job (on probation) not every on eBay and business has good intentions.  They just want to see what kind of seller you are. Remember, eBay and Paypal are separate businesses now--as they should be.  Unless things have changed, you can call Paypal for a one time situation and ask them to release the hold.

There are SO MANY items to sell, Use: Amazon, Hayneedle, Lowes, Wal-mart and use the T.A.P. method, and take a look at watchcount.com etc.

Why does Andrea LIKE this site?

If I had to seriously choose a GREAT or one of the great drop shipping sites, it's this one!  I like this site almost more than I do Amazon.

If you are like me, I LOVE Amazon, but like a grocery story, there are MORE items and more sites than just this one.  That is the beauty of drop shipping.  You can use just about ANY site.  I have.  I remember when an item I listed (three )sold but the Amazon site was out-of-stock!  How dare they! It was over the holidays and to be honest, I should have outsourced this or paid MORE ATTENTION to my wish list.  Like some of you, I was in holiday mode just a tad. I was at a wedding in California to be honest. If I had an eBay store, I would have put my listing on holiday mode and enjoyed the bachelorette party, wedding rehearsal, wedding, and wedding reception MUCH better than chasing orders.  It's a good thing my15 year old god-child (I love her) had a laptop...geez.

Anyway, I simply love this site.  Why?

Here are three good excellent reasons:

1.  This site has a variety of awesome items and very few out-of-stocks. I didn't say they don't but fewer out-of-stocks.

2.  Excellent customer service! Bar none. They are just as good if not better than Amazon.  If you like Amazon, this site is the twin sister you never met and love her too.

3. Superior tracking and follow-up.  They actually send me an email letting me know the status of my order and yes, tracking information too!!!

The site is very user friendly. They have sales and sale coupons too The only thing I can think of is that is may take a few minutes to load the picture pages (12 seconds). Other than that, it's a great site.

Challenges Of Being An eBay Drop shipper

No matter what you do in life or are doing:  a mother, father, pastor, teacher, working a job, retired, or an entrepreneur, ect, there will be challenges in life!

I wish I could say there will be no challenges and everything will be error free, but I dare not and cannot.

Here are a few challenges to ponder and overcome:

1. What to sell?

We could be here ALL night with that one!  You can sell just about ANYTHING on eBay and beyond.  Sell what is popular, sell baby clothes, toys, shoes, equipment, sofa, kitchen tables, it varies.  Use website like watch count .com or just Google it. Yes, Google is your FRIEND! There is a ton of information out there. Yes, that is truly from my eBay site.

2. Volume Selling

"Andrea, I haven't sold anything on eBay yet!" My first question is: "Did you max out your listing?" the answer is usually NO--which is cool but uncool.  It's a numbers games, the more listings you have up, the more chances of a sell!  I know to some that's basic but it's true SO START LISTING AND MAX OUT. Title builder .com is another tool to use to play around with your titles and make them stronger. If all else fails, list something else...and think seasonal.

3. Inventory Management

OUCH, this can be tricky.  1. Be diligent! You can place your items in a wish list on Amazon or save for later or in your cart and monitor them twice a day or have someone  THAT YOU trust to do it. you can outsource this tasking too. There are plenty of tools online to help you with this. I have a few in mind, just email me. There reason I keep saying email is this blog does not honor hyperlinks or I must figure it out, until then, just email me ;) Subject Line: More inventory tools to use.

4. eBay and Pay pal

They USED to be "twins" but now things are very different.  They are separate companies now as they should be. Every year or a few times during the year, they will come up with different policies and dos and don'ts. I usually receive an email in my eBay message box about what has changed, or is being change, how it will effect the buyer and seller, ect. Ensure that YOU take the time to read and understand it all.  It may be a bit tedious but it's necessary to stay informed.

5. Product Sourcing

You can look to see what's hot, take a peak at your other eBay sellers and see what sold for them or what is selling, you can list new items, ect. Again, this can go on and on...mainly list it! If it sells great, if not still great...just list something else. There are product tools you can use to make listing on eBay better. The most important thing you can do is to be consistent and stay very encouraged.  Again, like anything, business...ANY business has highs and lows....don't be too discouraged just KEEP AT IT.

Hello everyone!  Happy 2016 and beyond!  I am so glad 2015 is over and 2016 is here! With the start of the new year, there are MANY things I want to change and do as I am sure some of you can definitely relate.
